NYCOYQP TriviaRandom. You probably know most of this already ._.
1) We have at least 35 different instruments (but considering quantity, almost 100 drums+keyboards+others).
2) One of our 大鼓s is 10 years old.
3) The 8 扁鼓s were bought in 2000.
4) Currently, we have 5 keyboard instruments in M4-01. The newer xylophone's keys are not made of wood.
5) The glockenspiel stand is from Yamaha. The glockenspiel, which is older, is of French origin.
6) The label on the wind chimes says "crash cymbal stand with strips".
7) The serial number for the suspended cymbal includes the letters "STD" (-.-), which suggests that the code is for the stand, but not the cymbal.
8) We have 20 排鼓s (separate drums).
9) We have one-and-a-half pairs of maracas.
10) We have 3 classy baskets in one of the boxes.

NYCO Holiday Practice ScheduleHello all (again)! During the Nov-Dec holidays,
all practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. Everyone should come in early, especially if 大组is in the morning.
For the blur ones out there, here's something you should take note of:
8 Nov (Thurs): NO CCA! DEEPAVALI!
13 & 15 Nov: As stated in the schedule.
20, 22, 27 & 29 Nov:
Order of 小组and 大组is switched. 小组will be from 9am-12nn and 大组will be from 1.30pm-4.30pm. 林老师(Sheng/suona teacher in case you don't know) will be conducting the piece he composed.
4 & 6 Dec: As stated in the schedule.
12 - 14 Dec: NYCO CAMP! 3 days 2 nights for
all members. There is no more Commitee Camp.
After 14 Dec: Break till Jan 2008!
---
Oh and Percussion is becoming more popular and in demand now so we're getting more parts and more difficult ones, at that. Apparently we have to play some percussion for guzhengs again but the parts haven't been distributed and we're running out of time. And for 林老师's piece, we were told by him that there are FOUR keyboard instruments, ie xylophone, marimba, vibraphone and glockenspiel.
Argh disaster strikes when the Sec 3s are away!
