(before i start, i would like to apologise if this post ends up looking more like a letter rather than a blog post, as i have just drafted an extremely long letter-- in my opinion, at least-- to a magician, for causes of which i shall not say! yay! oh it rhymes.)

as a dumb cuttlefish who
1) frequently evaporates from the cyberworld, as chewfei says, such that the whole cyberworld goes mad trying to look for the irritating twit of a sea creature who doesnt update her own blog / appear on the tagboards on any other blog
2) who blogs / posts on THIS PARTICULAR BLOG only once every million eternities...
..it may shock you to see that i'm actually posting something.
thus, that would lead you to think i'm here for a SPECIAL, EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, SUPER DUPER IMPERATIVE (that means 'important' too, by the way. i'm just acting cheem / chim. whatever, however you spell it.) REASON.

i need to address my adorable section regarding a few things.
1) QING GONG YAN! (+ dinner after that as a section + sleepover at xin yi's house!)
2) NAC (faints)
3) AOB (at the moment, i have no idea what i'm going to put here. well, i'll get there.)

1 (a) QING GONG YAN!
to be honest, i have no idea why i'm talking about this first. it's the MOST EXCITING topic, so i ought to be leaving it for last, but never mind.
hooray, to the sec 1s, in case you dont know, qing gong yan is the day that the whole of NYCO celebrates our success in a concert / SYF. for example, last year, 2007, NYCO celebrated our i-dont-know-how-many-th GOLD WITH HONOURS.
this year, we need to 'get high' (celebrate) over the fact that our concert was so incredibly, undeniably exciting. (ESPECIALLY PERCUSSION ITEMS, MUAHAHA!)

(eek, i've never used that phrase before. i dont even know how to pronounce it. ah well. it's a weird phrase, though.)
SO. details for this year's qing gong yan.
- date: 16th August, Saturday
- time: 10am-2.30pm
- venue: nanyang girls' high school
- what we'll be doing:
erm. well, obviously there isnt a humongous planned schedule with time slots of what we'll be doing. and i dont really have to include this segment, because, very obviously, we'll be..
(i) eating
(ii) spouting nonsense and telling lame jokes (fine, i guess that's my job since i'm the only one who does that =.=)
(iii) listening to NYCO CONCERT '08 RECORDING!
(iv) playing along to the recordings (i can imagine a crazy yqp miming qin wang dian bing and storm warning and dance)
(v) more eating
(vi) spouting more nonsense and talking more crap
(vii) i have absolutely NO idea.
and that's about it!
PLEASE DO COME, ALRIGHT?! (: this qing gong yan is actually a qing gong yan incorporated with farewell party for our beloved sec 4s! so COME! xD

1 (b) DINNER AFTER QING GONG YAN
YAY THIS IS A REALLY EXCITING PORTION!
after qing gong yan we'll be hanging out, doing crazy stuff as a section (i guess. what else can we do? O___O) and afterwards, we'll be having dinner together!
to emphasise, this is a very special dinner (: it will be a farewell party SPECIALLY FOR YQP SEC 4s WHO ARE MORE AMAZING THAN ALL THE OTHER NYCO SEC 4s, muahaha.. bias us.
details first, i guess.

- venue: some steamboat buffet thing at marina square
- $$: $20 per person, exclusive of sec 4s because WE'LL BE PAYING FOR THEM! so sec 4s better come (:

WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'WHAT WE'LL BE DOING'? WHAT DO YOU AT A BUFFET? HAVE A HAIRCUT? GROOM ELEPHANTS?
we'll be eating, of course.
and if i said you should come for qing gong yan, I SAY YOU MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST COME FOR THIS DINNER! (: haha!
you should already have received rachel's sms asking if you can come for the dinner. so, if you can, just follow the instructions in the sms, being SMS WENDY TO NOTIFY THAT YOU'LL BE COMING FOR THE DINNER BY SUNDAY NIGHT 11.59PM.
and wendy shall place a booking for us, because the place may be rather popular on saturdays. conclusion to this segment would be: start aiming to save $20, and keep saturday evening free!
1 (c) SLEEPOVER AT XIN YI'S HOUSE!
i do hope everyone has received an sms from SOMEONE asking if you'll be able to sleepover at xy's house (somewhere near marina square) after dinner which is after qing gong yan, on 16th august!
if you did not receive an sms, please sms me the moment you see this part of the post, if you can make it, alright? xin yi and xin yi's mama need to know (:

at xy's house, we'll probably be playing the piano (whahaha), watching a movie and playing with xy's dogs, yay! (if you dont like dogs, dont worry, just stay further away from the canines, yay). oh my gosh i accidentally typed dongs instead of dogs. O___O
